When I enter
my assessment information, the site says "No Records Found".
What should
I do?
Why can't I use
the online system to add a vehicle to my assessment?
What if my mailing address
is a P.O. Box?
The directions say
to specify what month and year an item was sold, but I don't see where
to do that.
If a vehicle I own
is no longer in working condition or is not currently in my possession,
can I remove it from my assessment?
Before finishing
my assessment, I'm asked for my email address and phone number. What
if I do not have or do not want to provide this information?
When
I enter my assessment information, the site says "No Records Found".
What should
I do?
- In order to use the online assessment system,
you must have assessed in this county last year. If
you did not assess your personal property in this county last year, you
will need to contact the assessor's office directly.
- If you assessed your personal property in this county
last year but are receiving the "No Records Found" message,
start by verifying that you have correctly entered your information into
the appropriate fields. Any
typos or additional spaces can keep your assessment from being located.
- If you assessed in this county last year, have verified
that your information is entered correctly, and are still receiving the
"No Records Found" message, contact the assessor's office for
assistance.
Why can't I use the online
system to add a vehicle to my assessment?
When you add a vehicle to your assessment, the assessor's office must receive
a valid VIN and confirm the details of the vehicle's make and model. In
order to ensure that this information is verified and entered correctly,
you must contact the assessor's office directly.
What if my mailing address
is a P.O. Box?
If your mailing address is a P.O. Box, enter your P.O. Box number in the
field marked for your House Number. For
instance, if your address is:
John Smith
PO Box 234
Hometown, AR
you should
enter "234" in the "House Number" field on the assessment
search page.
The directions say to
specify what month and year an item was sold, but I don't see where to
do that.
In order to specify what year and month an item was sold, you must first
change that item's status to "Delete". Once
you have done this, Month and Year fields will appear, allowing you to
enter an approximate date.
If a vehicle I own is no longer in working
condition or is not currently in my possession, can I remove it from my
assessment?
No. Any
vehicle that you own must be assessed regardless of whether it is in your
possession or in working order.
Before finishing my assessment,
I'm asked for my email address and phone number. What
if I do not have or do not want to provide this information?
Entering an email address is required so that the assessor's office can
notify you when your assessment has been processed. If
you wish to enter a current phone number, this will give the assessor's
office an additional way to contact you if they have any questions about
the information entered on your assessment. In
either case, a paper copy of your assessment will be mailed to the address
associated with your assessment.
